Plan training around real workplace requirements

Workforce training must be practical, relevant and manageable within an operational environment. Calibre will discuss the factors affecting delivery before recommending an approach.

PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS

• Participant roles and required competencies
• Individual or group enrolments
• Worksite location and workplace access
• Operational schedules and preferred timeframes
• Practical training and assessment requirements
• Existing qualifications, experience and potential RPL
• Medical, licensing, RIW or network requirements where applicable

Workplace-based delivery may be available where the qualification, participant numbers, facilities and assessment requirements make it suitable.

FUNDING AND TRAINEESHIP SUPPORT

Understand the options that may be available

Funding and traineeship eligibility can vary according to the qualification, participant circumstances, employment arrangements, location and current government programs.

Calibre can discuss your proposed training and help you understand the questions that need to be considered. Funding availability and eligibility should always be confirmed before enrolment.

FUNDING AND TRAINEESHIP SUPPORT

Yes. Calibre can discuss both individual employee enrolments and coordinated group training, depending on the course and delivery availability.

Where the qualification allows, suitable specialist streams, electives or units can be considered against participant roles and workplace requirements.

Recognition of Prior Learning may be available where participants can provide sufficient evidence of relevant and current competency. Previous completed training may also be considered for credit transfer.

Funding may be available for some qualifications and participants. Eligibility depends on the applicable program, employment arrangements, prior qualifications and individual circumstances.

The qualifications identified as nationally recognised on this website are delivered within the Australian vocational education and training framework. The outcome issued will depend on the course or units successfully completed.
