Statement of Attainment
This program covers the core competencies used by people undertaking basic operations within the rail infrastructure environment. It establishes the safety, fatigue-management, communication, environmental, manual-handling and hand-tool skills that underpin rail infrastructure work.
The program suits new entrants, existing workers who need the core competencies and employers building a consistent baseline of capability across a rail workforce.
This program delivers the seven core units from TLI27121 Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure. It does not, by itself, complete the full qualification. Participants who successfully complete the program receive a Statement of Attainment for the units achieved.
Participants intending to complete TLI27121 Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure can discuss the appropriate specialist stream and additional electives with Calibre. The final pathway should reflect the participant’s work, existing competencies and workplace requirements.
Delivery and assessment arrangements are confirmed before enrolment and may include trainer-led learning, practical demonstration, workplace activities, written tasks and evidence gathered in an appropriate work environment.
Calibre will confirm participant suitability, existing competencies, language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills, physical or operational requirements, prerequisite units, PPE and access to a suitable workplace, plant or equipment.
